About our organization

Volunteering and Defense Center was founded by business representatives and local authority public organizations at the very beginning of russia’s invasion to Ukraine. Today we are one of the largest humanitarian hubs in Ukraine, located in Lviv.

The humanitarian aid is being sent here by foreign donors to be further distributed by us according to requests from people in need in terms of russian aggression.

On March 24th, on Center’s coordinators meeting, it was decided to establish a Charitable foundation "Volunteering and Defense Center", which operates due to United Nations humanitarian principles, and provides help to civilians and medical institutions.

Our core principle is fully openness and transparency.
